It's Personal
I’m 55 years old. I’m one-fourth Osage and I was born and raised
the first 5 years of my life on the Osage Reservation in Pawhuska,
Oklahoma. My first home was that of my Great, Great Grandmother,
Grandma Big Eagle. Just prior to turning 6 my family and I moved
up on what was then known as Dial Hill. Our new home was that of
my Great Grandfather, Ben Mashunkashey.
