Chief or Congress
I can only promise that I will throw my hat in the ring for one
or the other. Until I see a candidate running for Chief who
believes in the same principles as I and can convince me that
he/she will carry out the essential actions that I propose such
as forensic audits, a Constitutional Convention, restoration of
the Minerals Estate according to the 1906 Act and a spending
freeze as well as encouragement to cut salaries for elected
officials, I will plan to run for Chief.
Should a candidate guarantee he/she will carry out these
essentials, I will gladly run for a congressional seat in the
Osage government. My goal is not to have power; my goal is to
return our government to reality.
The life of the Osage Nation Government lies in the hands of the
people. We must elect a Chief and Congress members who are truly
interested in our welfare and our future. Decreasing these
outrageous salaries should eliminate those who are strictly in
it for power and money.
I hope my taking the lead in this announcement will encourage
and inspire intended candidates to follow by announcing their
plans to run for office.
